Georgian Government to purchase Microsoft’s Genuine OS Licensing and Enterprise Licensing

Georgian Government will purchase Microsoft’s Genuine OS Licensing and Enterprise Licensing from the official representatives of Microsoft Company to Georgia, announced Georgia’s Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri at the Government meeting today.

The agreement signed between the Microsoft Company and Ministry of Finance provides a full licensing of state organizations’ computer/IT jobs as well as server segment.

The negotiations between the sides started last year. Khaduri met General Manager of Microsoft Corporation Trudy Norris-Grey, responsible for Public Sector on 4th December 2014.

Cooperation prospects between the Microsoft Corporation and Ministry of Finance of Georgia was discussed at the meeting, along with current programs implemented with support of the company.
