HEAT Software, a leading provider of Cloud Service Management and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) software solutions, today announced a significant extension to its UEM solution portfolio with the release and rebranding of HEATLANrev.

HEAT UEM is a cross-platform solution designed to efficiently manage and secure traditional Windows, Mac, virtual, and mobile endpoints across their lifecycle to maximize operational efficiencies, minimize IT costs, and improve service quality and compliance. HEAT LANrev, formerly Absolute Manage, allows organizations to manage all of their endpoints from a single console, including PC, Mac, iOS, Android and Windows Phone devices.

“With the increased adoption of Macs in the Enterprise, there is a greater need for the business to be able to support, manage and secure these devices,” said Udo Waibel, Chief Product Officer at HEAT Software. “With the integration of HEAT LANrev into the UEM product portfolio, we are able to offer end users complete support to enable productivity on any device. HEAT LANrev significantly expands HEAT Software’s lead in Unified Endpoint Management.”

Already a leader in native management of Apple technologies, this release of HEAT LANrev also includes support for the latest enhancements in Apple’s Volume Purchase Program (VPP) with an automated migration tool and support for auto-updates in device-assigned app licenses.

Key functionality in HEAT LANrev includes:

  • Enhancement of HEAT Software’s Unified Endpoint Management strategy with client and mobility management fully integrated in a single management solution.
  • Support for iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac OS X operating systems.
  • Fully integrated HEAT Patchlink engine for Mac, Windows and third party applications.
