Snow Software AB, the recognized global leader in on-premise and cloud-based Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions that cover all platforms, today announced the appointment of John Clark as President, Snow Software Inc., its affiliate for North, South and Central America with headquarters located in Austin, Texas.
Clark will lead regional operations, building on the company’s success and driving awareness and adoption of SAM across corporate and enterprise-sized organizations in the public and private sectors.
Clark commented on the market: “Managing software, mobile and hardware assets continues to be a focus for all organizations as fiscal responsibility increases globally. Coupling spend management with disruptions like ever changing licensing models, adoption of private and public clouds, and demands around trends such as Bring Your Own Device, our market has never been more challenging and exciting.”
On his appointment, Clark added:
“I am thrilled to join the Snow Software Global Leadership Team. The market potential in the Americas is significant and growth expectations are high. I look forward to leveraging my market expertise while working with the existing organization to drive more scale. The ultimate goal is to increase the value our customers realize from their investment in SAM and protect them from the vendor dynamics that inevitably impact their business.”
Prior to Snow, Clark spent over seven years as Vice President at Flexera Software. He joined Flexera to build the software license optimization business and increased his impact on the business by managing the application readiness and software vulnerability organizations. Earlier in his career, Clark held management positions at Deloitte, Oracle and Noetix.
Axel Kling, CEO of Snow Software, welcomed Clark to the Snow family:
“John joins us at an incredibly exciting time. With strong results in 2015 and solid growth already in 2016, we are investing heavily in seizing the market opportunities across the Americas. John’s experience will be invaluable as we grow the Snow operations as well as increase our market share in the enterprise space.”
In North America, in addition to the headquarters in Austin, Texas, Snow has presence throughout the USA and Canada. In South and Central America, Snow has well established operations in Mexico City and Sao Paulo. The company global headquarters is in Stockholm, Sweden.
